"K'na the Dreamweaver" is set in South Cotabato, Mindanao, Philippines, about a young princess of the T'boli indigenous group, who discovers that she has been chosen by the gods as her village's dreamweaver. Its main character K’na (Mara Lopez) is being groomed to translate the dreams into patterns of abaca fibers dyed red, white or black. Those fibers begin to appear each day, tied to a bough outside K’na’s sleeping area, tributes from Silaw (RK Bagatsing), a besotted young man whose family harvests the plants.

K'na's village has been split by tribal conflict. But when K’na’s father and his counterpart agree to make peace, their method is to marry their fortunes by marrying their children. Because of K'na's ability to weave together her village's warring tribes, she must give up her one true love to do so. Despite K’na’s feelings for Silaw, she must make the choice that befits a true princess.

Written and directed by Ida Anita del Mundo, this film is part of the New Breed Category at the 2014 Cinemalaya. Its cast include Mara Lopez, RK Bagatsing, Erlinda Villalobos, Alex Medina, with Bembol Roco and Nonie Buencamino.
